At Study Bulletin, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This DMCA Policy outlines the process for submitting and responding to claims of copyright infringement on our website. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used or shared on Study Bulletin without permission, please follow the steps outlined below.
1. Filing a Copyright Infringement Claim
If you believe that content on Study Bulletin infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification (a “DMCA Takedown Notice”) to us. Your notice must include the following information to be considered valid under the DMCA:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
- Identification of the infringing material or the link on our website that you believe is infringing, including the specific URL(s) where the material is located.
- Your contact information, such as your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in question is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
You may send the DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Copyright Agent:
- Email: dmca@studybulletin.com
2. Responding to a DMCA Takedown Notice (Counter-Notice)
If you believe that the content that was removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA Takedown Notice was mistakenly identified or does not infringe the copyright, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., that you consent to the jurisdiction of any judicial district where Study Bulletin may be found).
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original DMCA Takedown Notice or their agent.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
You may send the counter-notice to our Designated Copyright Agent:
- Email: dmca@studybulletin.com
3. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Study Bulletin reserves the right to terminate user accounts or access to our services if we determine that a user is a repeat infringer. We maintain a record of DMCA notices and counter-notices and take appropriate action when necessary.
4. False Claims
Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice or counter-notice with false information or a false claim of copyright infringement can result in legal consequences. We take false claims seriously and may pursue legal action against those who misuse the DMCA process.
5. Good Faith Use of the DMCA Process
Study Bulletin encourages all parties involved in the DMCA process to act in good faith. Copyright holders and website users should ensure that they are complying with the law and submitting accurate information.
6. Changes to This Policy
Study Bulletin reserves the right to modify or update this DMCA Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the date of the most recent update will be listed at the top of the page. We encourage users to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.
